Years of being a liberal. Somehow she ended up presenting on radio national at some stage.

Sweet Jesus what a shitshow that was.

If it's something to do with national or regional security you wouldn't expect the government to advertise it. She can ask all she likes and she will because all the greens do anymore is politicise.
November 11, 2025 at 7:18 AM
Technically both, they play a roll in our national security and regional security. I'll try better next time.

Like that article about the data center being built up here a few days ago. The article was garbage thus the comments were a nonsense. How much other garbage are we feed and we just take it for granted that it's fact.
November 11, 2025 at 6:16 AM
I'm finding it harder to take any of it seriously.
November 11, 2025 at 5:46 AM
I would as well but I'm not going to lose sleep over it. The world has gone quite mad and frankly from my perspective it's only a matter of time before humans destroy ourselves and there's not a dam thing you nor I can do about it.

This is how bad the state of our media is. The photo is of Cocos Island which is indeed sinking. The data center will be built at the Xmas island airport which is nearly 300 meters above sea level. If that goes under we have a big big problem 😂

Personally I'm more pissed off about nuclear capable (read armed) B52's operating out of Tindal than I am about AUKUS but there isn't much you can do about it because nothing is going to change. It's LNP and Labor policy and god help us if the Greens ever formed government, which they won't.

1975 wasn't it. Different life time ago now.
November 11, 2025 at 5:09 AM
The Guardian couldn't even get the picture in the article correct. That's not Xmas Island.
November 11, 2025 at 5:06 AM
Wouldn't know, before my time.
November 11, 2025 at 5:04 AM
The same thing can be said of the current gov. Fine they might not be doing what some people want but it's simply not true to say they aren't doing anything. The list of achievements to date is bloody long.
November 11, 2025 at 4:25 AM
It can be. You need to slow down and pay attention to it. Months ago I broke down out in the jungle. While I waited for help I spent the time looking at the ground. Millions of little critters you wouldn’t even know exist if you don’t look.

Reminds me of a fish (flounder) we have up here. Perfect camouflage.
November 10, 2025 at 10:32 PM
I don't have a problem with off shore processing, I've seen what happens here on Xmas Island when open and the truth is far from what's reported in bias human rights propaganda. The problem here (Nauru) is the involvement of organized crime that is simply unacceptable.
November 10, 2025 at 9:55 PM
All the squashed ones, they smell really bad.
November 10, 2025 at 9:46 PM
That's exactly right and it's part of the reason his lunatic supporters distrust the media. The BBC should be ashamed of themselves.
November 10, 2025 at 9:32 AM
HaHa. I'll swap you some cooler weather for millions of really annoying stinking crabs.
