"Illegal alien" is doing some heavy lifting. It's supposed to make us care less about the death in government custody and make us focus more on his essentially stigmatized nature. This is inhumane and appalling coming from a government source.

"Won't someone think of the poor farmers?" Nope, farmers didn't care when Trump threatened groups of people up and down the food chain and farmers still voted for him. So, no, farmers can think of themselves, how about that?

Life goal. Have a partner who looks at you the way that Melania looks at Justin.

I cancelled my subscription, after being with them since the 1990s, when they decided to pull the Harris endorsement. Life has continued as before, without any diminishment in quality. Fuck the LAT.

Why on earth was no one nominated for the pending Jordan vacancy on the 3rd CC? The Delaware Senators couldn't agree on someone? Sheesh.

I am not interested in anyone who would espouse this point of view. Why did you follow me?

So, Braun has thrown in the towel for the remainder of the year?

True, but under Biden, the Dems disregarded non-return of blue slips for circuit court nominees from red state senators as well (e.g., Ritz and Mathis from 6th CC, Park from 4th CC).

Trump does not control the Senate Executive Calendar or scheduling of Senate Floor votes. The GOP is limited in its ability to implement this kind of blockade. Further, the GOP was confirming judges through December 2020, after Biden and the Dems would be taking over (but had not yet done so).
