Aguerd was balling for Morocco at the World Cup before joining West Ham. He’s balling for Marseille since leaving West Ham, but so many of the idiots amongst our fan base still think it was Aguerd that was the problem!? 🤨⚒️⚒️

It ain’t the players. When are we going to admit West Ham has mishandled a bucketload load of talent in the last few years because of the chaos and mismanagement at the heart of the club.

Phil Spencer currently perusing rancid palaces of the mega rich of New Zealand on TVNZ appears to have discovered a totalitarian Soviet surf club in Pauanui. Damned that’s a lot of money for a huge grey ugly concrete fort. 🤮🤢

A birthday week away in the glorious South Island of New Zealand. A bit of shopping and a bit of thermal soaking in the mountains. Highly recommended.

I can only presume Graham Potter is actively trying for the sack at West Ham at this point. There’s no other explanation for how he’s turned a bad team into an unspeakable one over the summer window. #WestHam

That Paqueta goal though, what a thing of beauty. 💯🙏🏼💯 #WHUCHE #WestHam

Looks like we’ve got our very own Crossing Commando in El Hadj Diouf. Guy’s an absolute bomber. #WestHam #WHUFC

I’ve had half a dozen staff working in the Nelson Tasman Emergency Mgt Centre across shifts since 8am Friday. We’ve had too many of these events here in Tasman, New Zealand over the last decade. It gives me the easiest measure of climate change.

Wow, right across the square from my sisters holiday apartment. Never thought I’d see this little village in the NZ Press.

One of the non negotiables from my recent trip to Japan. Absolute killer business from Philip Smart at King Tubby’s. Picked up Dub Store in Shinjuku, at a pretty decent price too. Pretty much all unreleased dubs and killer vocal tracks from Jacob Miller, Johnny Clarke and more.

Far right tossers the world over hate cities. Just like their ideological comrades, the Taliban, because cities are where free thought, urbanism and modernity thrive.

From LA to Paris, the populist right hates cities – and it’s fuelled by a sense of bitter defeat | Andy Beckett
LA was once a conservative stronghold; now the military is occupying it. Liberal cities have become targets for politicians looking to stir up their voters elsewhere, says Guardian columnist Andy Beck...

A quick Shinjuku and Shibuya drop. Dub Store Records, the new Sakura Stage mall at Shibuya Station South, and a bonus paddle boarding at Inokashira Park, Kichijoji.

Had a wander around the gardens at Kyū-Furukawa in north Tokyo this morning. Absolutely gorgeous and a bit unusual with the Victorian mansion designed by a British architect at the turn of the 20th century. Also features in a well known anime series so popular with da kids.

In Ikebukuro in west Tokyo. It’s a youth area with a focus on gaming, anime, manga and cosplay. It’s a great part of town to base yourself. Very lively and close to but not part of the madness that is Shinjuku and Shibuya. Cheaper too.
