Social Democrat.

In the vast majority of European countries his policies would be considered mainstream/centrist.

Though in most European countries his policies - or something like them - were implemented long ago and have been maintained by both left and right admins.

Ableist and unhelpful.

"wondering if he has Asperger’s or some other form of autism"

There are no "forms of autism". There's only one autism, one diagnosis, same DX criteria: Autism Spectrum Disorder. Either you are or you aren't.

Of course, just like non-autists, each autistic person is themself, autistically themself.

Maybe. But there are multiple comments/analyses urging caution in interpreting this study. Among other concerns, there appears to be a significant issue with confounding variables, not to mention issues with a lack of consistency between study groups.

I’m sure many autistic people would love a quiet day in a library on their day off. If they had a job to have a day off from. And if they could navigate the sensory hell they encounter transporting themselves from home to the library.

They’d also need a wife to joke about their behavior with.

Not everyone’s on the spectrum, this is such a lazy - and offensive - trope.

Either you have a brain that’s wired differently or you don’t. The autism spectrum is just that, it does not include non-autistics.

It's not just that vaccines don't cause autism, they *can't* cause autism.

By the time you're vaccinated you're already autistic.

Also wildly harmful to autistic people.

The issue isn’t so much that Tylenol isn’t the cause of autism, but the notion that there is a cause in the first place. Which pathologises autism.

"But the study linked in the release to illustrate a biological mechanism doesn’t actually include a biological mechanism, but the opposite. The authors write:

“Mechanisms underlying the associations of prenatal acetaminophen exposure with adverse birth outcomes remain unknown.”"
