The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

I had one of the weirder moments in a weird life last night when I realised that the Black Mirror episode Playthings was inspired by Creatures, a game I worked on in the 90s. Charlie Brooker reviewed it at the time, and apparently it stuck in his head.

This collaboration between Nils Frahm and Robert de Niro is currently playing on 6 Music. A 15 minute mixture of grainy folk orchestra and spoken word. Absolutely stunning.

Today’s adventure in crisp land: KFC flavoured crisps from Germany. Like regular Walkers chicken crisps with a sachet of black pepper per crisp. Oddly compelling.

These beauties are “Mustard Octopus” flavour. You can occasionally find them in oriental supermarkets. Like nice sushi, if it were a bag of crisps.

A thrill to see Laurie Anderson’s epic multi-media show in Manchester last night. An enormous, apocalyptic sound generated by a three musicians on stage, and some ghosts offstage.
