Hey, I'm Pete! Time Magazine Person of the Year 2006 and Guinness World Record holder.
Ooh! Look...there goes my evening.

Loving the fact that Alresford station near Colchester is bracketed with Mid Hants, not Essex. The real Mid Hants version isn't even on the map as it is part of the heritage Watercress Line.

Landing into Dundee Airport at 4pm yesterday on a Loganair ATR 42-500 was definitely in the spicy category!

Being Southend born and raised, these were part of my childhood. Still remember the farewell Saturday and riding them around the LTS Rail network ❤️

Poorly in comparison! But the flu in March, plus putting my back out in both April and May. Could be worse.

I'm not 100% sure on the history, but as of now, platforms 1 and 2 are the high level Overground platforms.

@geofftech.bsky.social has previously recorded a video on the mess that is Stratford station, well worth a watch.

My favourite is flown by Ukraine Air Alliance, this fantastic Antonov An-12 to share with people you are fond of...

The significance and sheer change in travel across London that EL brought will probably never be seen again in my lifetime.

The speed of journeys, the disability improvements, the sheer mammoth scale of the stations.

Colchester to East Croydon in 91 minutes is my record. Unthinkable before EL.

It was a fairly impressive sounding show today from the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Basking in the sunshine a few miles south of all the thundery action!

372 also to Lakeside Shopping Centre.

The gap in air traffic over southern England today is quite something and fairly obvious!

I just hope that airport and airline staff are being treated well by those caught up in the disruption.

It's great to have you here, on a much fresher and friendlier platform. Only see the feeds I want to see.

This platform has allowed me to reset my own brain health from the downward spiral of 2024.

My rail atlas fairy was the Royal Mail a couple of weeks ago 😅

My first edition of it too, haven't bought the rail atlas previously.

Just had a very weird glitch with the link to the product page there.

Seemed to take me to a logged in page on Crecy and showed me a couple of other customer details including addresses, order number, phone number, email address.

Can't replicate now but weird nonetheless 😳

My biggest gripe, is the 10 pack of eggs is now an 8 pack with no reduction in physical packaging and a hefty increase in standard price at Tesco. Will very much help me in reducing my creme egg and caramel egg intake.

For a little Easter egg, can you put a small shark against the Headington name as a nod to the Headington Shark 🦈

Ah for some reason I thought the latest Atlas was out this month. Glad to hear it won't be too long 👍🏻
