That difficult second album!

Global greatness arrived after TDSA of course, which I didn’t see coming, I’ll be honest.

Saw the first gig of DS’s first UK tour. Kicked off with Down to the Waterline. Moody intro played, audience listening intently. Last note of the intro fades, audience goes beserk. Knopfler steps up, says “thank you, good night”, feigns to walk off then the band crash into the rest of the song.

That’s pretty much what she said. She started to feel much better not long after the drugs kicked in, but it took her. A couple of weeks to recover fully. She was properly washed out. Hope they get you sorted quickly.

Get yourself tested for campylobacter. My wife had a bout of that a few weeks back and until confirmed and appropriate antibiotics prescribed she was like you. Couldn’t even keep water down. Very unpleasant……

So have they just invented gose then?
