I'm a retired architect in Norwich, UK. Non-religious, left-wing & proudly woke, confused & angry with worldwide ignorance, inhumanity, brutality, inequality & insanity. I would be a humanist, but don't feel our species deserves such elevation.
Groom of the Stool?

Its time we stopped treating this criminal Fake-Tanned F*ckwit seriously. I'm bored with this f*cker being in my head for months on end. Take a lesson from Carney. Move on. Nothing to see here. Could request release of unredacted Epstein files so we can pursue a case against Mr Mountbatten-Windsor?

Not for me rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. My well of hope for Labour never more than half full, is now bone dry. Proto-fascist & rotten from the head down with pockets stuffed full of shekels. All complicit off to The Hague for support of genocide then I might reconsider. Otherwise BE GONE.

Remember that and the old Mill, since lost unfortunately. Greta Bridge (?) 1972.

Ah Teesdale 😍. First girlfriend lived in Barnard Castle, polluted by Dom Cummings testing his eyesight there. Lovely memories.

NAIL ON HEAD Laurence. The fortuitous demise of repellent Tory iconoclasts is welcomed however achieved. Hope they don't get a golden f*ckoff for retirement. Now pitchfork out Zion*st plant Robbie Gibb (not the Bee Gee) & his "editorial" oberleutnants. Set Truth Free eh? Gary Lineker for DG? 😜

Shows like St Charlie's "funeral" don't cut it unless, like when really bad films become so bad they're good; go & laugh with plenty of tubs of popcorn. Actually, why stop there... take it outside like in Portland, nothing else seems to get through the rhinoceros-hide of the fake-tanned narcissist.

A real feather in your cap Aid! At least you can still swim in Space Karen's cloacal canal so the rest of us don't have to.

Democracy's Achilles heel. Didn't the ancient Athenians chose a leader by drawing lots from ALL citizens? Might be an idea worth considering. It would make the National Lottery more interesting, make political punditry history & give nothing for the pearl-clutching media to froth about. Win win.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man - Noll Cromwell 😜. UK's brief republican way before his time. Had an inevitable bad press from the preening peacocks who reclaimed their thrones & an unfortunate shared surname with Henry VIII's chief minister. V. naughty boy in Ireland, but tolerant towards Jews.

Guns don't kill according to Charlton Heston & the NRA. Gun has killed, ergo it must be fired by a person. Plenty of evidence, although I'd be very wary of knocking on his door. Glad he's on the other side of the Atlantic from me.

Even the most poorly educated economists (except those delusional cult-addled post-holders in the federal govt who struggled with math in kindergarten) understand inflation, even if Mike doesn't. I suppose this tomfoolery is inevitable now statistics have been declared "woke" & a democrat plot.

How much does anyone need to live comfortably, with a few little luxuries to make life worth living? $50K pa? Thats 99.999995%. Could pay for a lot of social services for the rest of us.

Much to agree with Andy (but "greed"?). Housing for Heroes I don't remember, but Tory ghouls won Hayek v Hatton. Before that, supply/demand kept costs under control with simple planning legislation & local councils developed for local need, owning & maintaining a large rental sector. Good ol' days.
