What I love most, though, is the notification at the top of your updated booking that cannot ever be removed that asks you to “check if your ticket is valid for this connection”. In the age of AI, I for one am grateful that my human intelligence is used somewhere meaningful. I feel needed!

What, you want to get a refund for those reservations? What are you, some savage? No refunds until after the fact, and then it’s so many steps that it’s not worth it. After all, how could the DB app know your personal data or your original booking or that it was cancelled. Impossible!

Who wants to sit somewhere when booking a new connection, right? So why would the DB app offer a new seat reservation when you ditch the old connection. If you really wanted to sit, tou wouldn’t have let that original connection be cancelled. You brought this on yourself.
