We do need an alliance so as to be able to stand up to Russia. But NATO? That’s basically led by America, who can no longer be relied upon or trusted.

It seems like the only ones remaining with a shred of morality remaining are the LibDems and the Greens.
And they’re politicians as well, putting their efforts into trying to be popular and thus, winning some influence.
