Seeing the full context of the comments tells me that they think they’re engaging it in a way that won’t harm anyone, but as others have pointed out, it cuts the humanity out of a part of the process. If you’re referencing art or photos, you should care about the mind that produced them.

Disappointed hearing about Larian’s use of it in concept art from Jason’s new article. Concept art is an important foundation for a game, not something to have AI churn out to save time.

I under appreciated this exercise when I was in school. It’s great to train this muscle because you ultimately want to look at your subject more than your drawing. And it’s just fun

Just read the book a couple weeks ago and my biggest takeaway was that the part actually for pets didn’t seem that bad. Kind of a fun community project.

I haven’t thought about it through the lens of gender but I will say for what it’s worth that I think of you as a person who’s had a positive influence on the way I think, especially when I’m thinking about my own creative pursuits. If that’s a consolation?

Yeah, I’ve always felt like the whole album seems preoccupied with death in an interesting way that makes me enjoy it all the more. Hard to pick but for the record I think my favorite is Push Back The Hands.

I can only imagine how frustrating that is. I hope it passes soon. Maybe there is some sort of karmic system and you’ll be granted a long period of reprieve after this.

I don’t know if hearing this from a stranger will help but when I see your sketches, I think “I wish my sketches were that beautiful.” I empathize with the lack of energy though.
