State uses a 7-minute, 15-play non-scoring drive to take the clock to 0:00.

If we are facing facts, we will talk to drivers directly.
1) That speeding, light-running, etc are ineffective at getting you anywhere meaningfully faster.
2) Take the stop sign or the red light as a gift! Take in your city, admire your surroundings!

I don't believe it's hopeless to try to change the driver-first mindset we permit and enable. To only build physical constraints while ignoring the attitudes behind deadly behavior is infantilizing.

Piecemeal improvements (like neighborhood roundabouts and "where practical" right turn on red prohibitions) tacitly tell drivers to go nuts anywhere else.

The idea of the US is worth the fight. When all people are truly treated equally, we will have realized our potential. The fight we have on our hands now is the same fight Lincoln spoke of - "whether that nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure." 2/

Don’t recall Stiggs reacting to anything played other than (understandably) JAMC. Funny, in that era I would play Carnage Visors at bedtime.

I still miss the cat who hated me playing this record. RIP Stiggs.

Fact. The capon is really deserving of a moment.

Ugh. What a mass delusion turkey is. We routinely host Christmas where besides traditional jambalaya every few years I rotate in a great smoked bird (with a great url gobblegobble.com) but it's still just frickin turkey.

For 1000% real. Took the bull by the horns and shanghai'd family thanksgiving to my house. Center of the plate: scratch meatballs and meat sauce with spaghetti with the most lux garlic bread ever devised.
