The Canada goose nest on The island in Laurelhurst Park has failed to produce goslings after 36 days; the pair of Canada Geese are seen out swimming together. Raccoons?
We did see a pair of Mallard ducklings (so few) a couple of days ago.
So many Wood Ducks Will theyhave families here in the Park.

Lovely reminder of Reed Canyon yesterday. Had not been there since before the shut down for COVID. Loud pairs of Canada Geese and a stalking Great Egret plus students setting out to gather data points.

Cherry Trees almost in full bloom now. Hopefully the blossoms can last through the rain until the sun returns.

Early honeybee swarm. Luckily decided to take up residence in the empty hive next door.

Wow! 84°f today. No holding back the change of seasons. Early honeybee swarm. Luckily they re-homed on a nearby empty hive.
