and i grew up in inwood of the '60s & '70s, haunted the cloisters often, gazing across the hudson at the gw bridge and the looming palisades . . .

although, with all due respect to the east river bridges, verranzzano always awes me . . . and othmar amman is a strong candidate for best name ever ;)
