The Senate still has to vote on the CR again, right? After (if) the House approves it?

oh don’t worry. i vote for the Democrats, and CA has open primaries so I can vote there too
i like plenty of Democratic politicians. i don’t like the party leadership and really never have
AFAICT there’s no downside in registering 3rd party (P&F) in CA, but if there is, I’d like to know

The party *still* hasn’t shaken the devastating legacy of Bill Clinton
I left the party in 1996 and they haven’t really done anything at all to make me consider returning

I think that is unfortunately the correct take
It could be historically catastrophic

I’ve apparently never been to a pitch and putt course cuz I just assumed there would be par 2s
You pitch, you putt. 2 strokes 🤷🏼♀️

Sunriver resort outside Bend, OR (my FIL’s partner owns a house there)
According to this map it’s actually 106 ft, but I remember shorter
Two (2!) par 4s under 200 ft lol. I got 2 eagles one day
1 and 2 are fun — super steep hill. 2 was definitely par 3 when I played

I have to keep tabs on it as well, and tbh, what always surprises me is that it feels as if there are *still* more progressives on there than reactionaries
They definitely get more likes
(The only account I follow is Elon lol)

I'll take one any way I can get one. I've hit cage/chains a couple times but no catch yet
I also don't think you need a witness (mostly because I usually play alone -- no one saw my awesome forehand throw-in from 150 the other day 😤)
Why would anyone lie about it? No one else cares!

Is Seawater a Last Resort to Cooling Japan's Nuclear Reactors?
Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant normally relied on purified water to whisk away heat from its reactors, until the destruction wrought by the March 11 tsunami called for extreme measures

Great question. My only "ace" (I don't consider it an ace) came on a 71-foot par 2 lol
It was a good shot! 😆
For me, it has to be 200+ (215-ers are my only hope)

What are the objections?
My obvious guess would be "too close to me," but is it any more than that?
It seems like a good project, or at least *better than the nothing every other city is trying*

San Rafael's innovative attempt to solve the homeless crises
The City of San Rafael, with lots of help from Marin County and the state, have acquired a property which they say will go from a truly decent temporary shelter to truly affordable permanent housing.
