Even a dumb school kid guessing through a multiple choice test gets 25% right. The challenge for the current regime is that all their instincts are wrong - and when you pile ignorance and laziness and greed and cowardice on top - their answers will almost always be terrible and disaster awaits.

The thing that confuses people - other than the assumption that high D (dominant) behavioural style make good leaders (they can but there’s no correlation between behavioural style and talent / brains) - is that it’s hard for someone to be wrong all the time.

But it always ends badly. Just takes a lot of time for their misdeeds (unfortunately) to catch up with them.

And this tacit support keeps the show on the road. It’s like a kid who can’t ride a bike jumping on the saddle and as they wobble down the road - adults around the them quickly try to put the stabilisers on.

Working by gut (and a finely honed sense of self interest and arse-covering) they can move fast and always break things - leaving others to pick up the pieces. And they get away with it due to fear and compliance and from the latent respect that comes with a power position.
