FWIW, as someone who has used both bus and bike a lot, I find bus drivers and cyclists generally interact well on the Metro corridors. Bus drivers will always give you space, cyclists usually get out of the way if needed. Everyone gets it. Not so the taxi, who is a slave to the clock and the meter.

It is deeply refreshing to have no ads or suggested content in a timeline by default. I have no idea how they can make it financially sustainable, but hopefully it lasts.

It's a weird place atm... once/if mainstream pundits and the YouTubers properly turn up, it'll get nasty quickly, but right now am enjoying a very narrow feed of accounts that's quite pleasant. I give it a week.

Delighted to see it might actually happen. Had wondered in Threads might be the one months ago, but Bluesky proving much more suitable for the FPL community to be reborn - without all the ads and spam!
