I’ve had the same thoughts

Nobody talked about the impact that TV has on all of this. I’m sure the league’s TV partners don’t want games stretching out and overlapping with later games which happens in college.

One aspect about the schedule change that might make it more tolerable is the transfer window timing.

We’d lose Tani before the season vs in the middle of trophy hunts and it would have been easier to accept massive deal for Pereyra. Plus newcomers arrive during preseason vs with 7 games left.

Has it only been a week? Boys are rested and roaring to go. Tani gets a goodbye brace and we get to sing the song after a 2-1 win.
