The Fall Drop will almost certainly be 1.21.9, and as it adds some completely new functionality, I expect one
patch afterwards, bringing me to this result:

Fall Drop — 1.21.9
Winter Drop — 1.21.11
(A drop can't be 1.22)

This would be the first .11 version since 2010!

And finally, the version numbers.
These are completely loose predictions but I want to throw them out there:
As I have talked about since February of this year, I see a 1.21.10 releasing on Java in 2025. This has now been GUARANTEED thanks to last week's 1.21.8 release.

These predictions are rather loose, though I predict they will release the drops in the third week of the month.
Drop 1 — 25 March (W4)
Drop 2 — 17 June (W3)
Drop 3 — 16 Sept. (W3)?
Drop 4 — 16 Dec. (W3)?

Lastly, there are a three more predictions I want to share.
We get one drop per season, always in the month that the season starts in, meaning the Fall Drop '25 will release in September, and the Winter Drop '25 in December.

Now, why would they do develop features two or three weeks before snapshot release? Bingo! They're not. This leads me to reinforce my prediction of 29th July as the first Snapshot date, a prediction I made late last month due to them going on a short Summe break.

On YouTube, Minecraft shared a community post with the new features on JAVA! (As seen by the Redstone Torches), which means they are actively developing the features on Java, too.

Yesterday, we got the 1.21.110.20 Bedrock Preview, which removes the Experimental toggle, meaning 110 is the Drop version for Bedrock, but we also had something interesting shared.
