He likely took the bus, or walked and took the bus. He was only about 10 miles away. 3:35 to 7am is a long time.

I read in an article on Reuters that he bought a car off someone at a bus stop for cash:
"Around 7 a.m. on Saturday, Boelter encountered someone at a bus stop in Minneapolis and eventually offered to buy his Buick, according to prosecutors."

Yep. I see my dr every 6 months and I have to make my appointment for the next visit as soon as I'm done with the current visit. I had to wait 9 months to see a dermatologist and after that visit, I made an appointment for a year out. It's crazy.
