They aren't leaving Twitter because of money, they did it because it doesn't work anymore as a platform for service alerts. If you don't have a Twitter account, you can't see the latest (and in this case, the only relevant) tweets. It's better to direct people to the website or a GTFS-based app.

My MPO has a program for projects specifically to improve air quality and most of that money is spent building extra turn lanes and right-turn slip lanes. Good luck explaining to a civil engineer that increasing the number of cars on the road maybe isn't the best way to do that...

Do you know where one can find the plans for their new alternative? I'm concerned that they will be reducing/eliminating daylighting at driveways and crosswalks to put in more parking, and want to see if it's as bad as it sounds

It blows my mind that we spend so much on capital costs for new transit and then run abysmal frequencies. Patronage is okay, paying operators evidently is not.
