It was thought that Rev. William Elliott was the collector of this specimen. But it was actually his daughter Isabella Marie Kolbe (1830-93), who married a missionary in Damaraland (Namibia) and also sent specimens to Harvey in Dublin. The collector is therefore Kolbe in herb Harv.
