At Parkinson's Aus National Conf we spoke to dozens of people who link their #PD with pesticide exposure.

Research shows 53 #pesticides are linked with PD. shorturl.at/azNkG

Did you know?

Australia’s pesticide regulator, the APVMA, is 87% funded by industry.

Australia is the only country in the OECD whose regulator is majority-funded by industry.

Inevitably, the APVMA is repeatedly accused of being industry captured.

We need an independent regulator.

Beyond agri-uses, hazardous #pesticides are widely used in public urban spaces in #Australia incl. next to medical clinics, playgrounds, hospitals & nursing homes with no public warnings.

We are all affected by pesticide pollution.
