don’t forget the budget cuts while the pizza is in the oven. Electricity or gas was turned off, replaced with a butane tank. Then the knife went missing.

is there a specific application architecture that can use this approach? For example, monolithic applications like Drupal 6 and 7 doesn’t really lend itself to unit testing until the Drupal 8 refactor.

For slide #8, because of the nature of unknown-unknowns, we have to rely on serendipity and luck in order to bump into a problem through exploring. Improving system observability can increase the incidences by which unknown-unknowns can become known-unknowns
