There is no way out but through and fear serves the fascists. We have to keep moving forward. If we truly believe that all children deserve a society founded on equity and justice then we must live those values. The risk is least and the rewards greatest when we stand together fearlessly.

Maybe. But the original comment was about consumption of energy, not water, and not every form of energy generation is also notably water-consumptive, and server farms generally recirculate cooling water. So if you're right then I think that comparison isn't very factually undergirded.
