Cognitively consonant. Building an invincible summer home.

Corporate needs us to identify the differences between wishcasting and actuality. Meet me at the corner of POSIWID and WYSIATI.
A bit overstated but essentially correct. If those who voted "no" don't fight for new leadership then they lose credibility.

Can I presume you aren't an aficionado of the 3.5% theory then?

There is no way out but through and fear serves the fascists. We have to keep moving forward. If we truly believe that all children deserve a society founded on equity and justice then we must live those values. The risk is least and the rewards greatest when we stand together fearlessly.

Because Democrats don't hunt?

And if they aren't then the explanatory context of left wing violence is omitted.

Binary thinking is metacognitively infantile.

Right. I hate that about bluesky.
September 27, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Maybe. But the original comment was about consumption of energy, not water, and not every form of energy generation is also notably water-consumptive, and server farms generally recirculate cooling water. So if you're right then I think that comparison isn't very factually undergirded.

The OP is using water consumption required to produce chocolate vs beef to analogistically consider energy expenditure required for humans to perform tasks vs AI.
September 27, 2025 at 2:33 AM
We should annihilate it anyway.
September 26, 2025 at 9:24 PM
And is chocolate produced in similar quantities as beef? You can't ignore that part.

The water consumption to produce chocolate is about 15% higher than beef, per unit mass. But the global annual production of chocolate is about 94% less than beef. Almost literally a drop in the bucket.

Lots of people wanted this. Not most, but lots.

I mean, sure, everything that genuinely helps is welcome ... But how anybody could have been so stupid is beyond me.

Every single one of those shitheels is unmitigatedly, in-your-face, capital E Evil. And still we la-di-da down the hill.

My point.

Because cancelling a service is a simple act that scales, is not a financial sacrifice, and does not risk one's livelihood.

What is the simple, scalable act that we can do for los desaparecidos?

When will it become accepted knowledge that suing the federal government is just another marketplace for grift and money laundering?
September 23, 2025 at 2:43 AM
...which speaks volumes about the state of our media and national conversation.

The only way out is through.

Even a demented pig intersects with the truth now and then. Don't make anything of it; it's purely incidental.

Party-level complicity. If you are a Democrat whose values align with traditional Democratic party values, then you don't have a political party anymore.
September 20, 2025 at 12:50 PM
Look. It's motherfucking fascism. You know it. And fascism doesn't use words to craft true statements. So you sound stupid trying to claim it's because of headrot. Maybe it is, maybe it's not, but it IS motherfucking fascism. So call it that, goddamnit.
