Would also like to add that his treatment of people who are homeless, some of the most vulnerable among us, was also a pretty big red flag for me

Thank you very much! And from the photographer himself, I'm honored! Love your work

Here is the original reference photograph. Credit to Steve McKerrall @photosteve.bsky.social. I would recommend following them, they post lots of beautiful nature photography.

Also! If you know any photos you think I would enjoy drawing, you can totally send them my way, but the photos will need to have the photographer credited and needs to be confirmable by me.

You're all welcome to give your thoughts on my drawings but please be nice lol. Constructive critiques and advice are welcome but please make sure it's both constructive and kind. Again, I'm doing this for fun, so let's all keep the vibes good.

As of right now, my drawing skills are basically at zero. One of my goals with this project is to improve over time but the priority here is just to have fun, exercise my creativity, and spend more time with hobbies that don't involve consumption.

I'm getting echos of Leslie Nielsen here

You gotta take the good with the bad, no one's perfect

He is willing to sacrifice anything and anyone to lock down the Bailey constituency

His focus group might even convince him to throw in the most stilted "damn" you've ever heard
January 12, 2026 at 3:03 PM
Did you see how hot he looked holding that gun??

This post reminds me of an idea that you and John have shared before: progress is not guaranteed, it's something we have to decide to work for

Hope you're enjoying the lack of slop as much as I am

A badge of honor! 😆

Somehow my hunch is that he won't have as much luck over here

Posted my own comment about this but I'll link it here as well! You can block them before they ever even make it to your feed! bsky.app/profile/did:...

I would recommend it for everyone, especially those who like science, history, photography, or animal content, as these fields are littered with these bots that game the algorithm to get to the top of everyone's feeds.

One amazing benefit of Bluesky is block lists. One that has absolutely improved my experience on here is one that blocks these content scrapers/repost bots.

That's interesting. Makes me wonder what kind of subpopulation this woman was existing in at the time that led to her recollection of history. Maybe it was just people who were more technical experts who were more jargony? Cause For Dummies books definitely try to be less jargon heavy right? 🤷‍♂️

Reading the comments, it seems like there was variations based on country. I wonder if there was also a regional factor within the US, like soda/pop
January 11, 2026 at 3:56 PM
They can post about it SOMEWHERE ELSE

Seems like a gimmicky source of e-waste
