to me, naoya has equal characterization to the rest of the team, missed by the player themselves refusing to disassociate with the text given to them & instead internalizing it. check it out! (1/3)

naoya’s kind of in similar position w/ mark and maki in which a lot of his dialogue can come off flirty or adjusting, and this is backed up by yukino. his characterization is scattered across the game (theres a line where yukki calls him a pushover for people regularly, i dont have it)

naoya contax!!! i think naoya’s contacts can actually be pretty funny bc some dialogue (like demons speaking TO you first) is fairly naoya-focused in description and not you focused. also one of his applicable traits is chanteuse (for female demons only) as described.. hes silly

[ SEBEC spoilers !! ] his concern for maki is so very cute ;c; & he can see the ins of mai in her so quickly,,, making him the second character thats That Perceptive abt the whole ordeal even if he doesnt grasp it fully. & its so silly to me bc like,, he has a difficult time putting it all verbally+
