As someone who works frequently with the American Legion Aux. Jackie Robinson Unit 252 color guard which is comprised of all Black women (who are all awesome & dedicated to serving their country and community) this has me incandescent with rage. It is horrific erasure for no reason other than hate.

It is currently 49 degrees in West Hollywood. Granted, the desert is different but by most normal So. Cal standards, it’s cold.

Thank you! I often wonder if people are being deliberate amnesiacs about the past or if they truly don’t remember (and if not, why not? Is social media or something rewiring our brains and memory centers?)
