I'm in the middle of one! I've clearly taken up the baton ...

Nice thought! Optimum and comprehensive are hard things to quantify but I'll offer this:

Can you do a "DJ set for self" at least every evening for about 2-3 hours of playing for 2 weeks (where each set is unique)?

That's optimum for me.

For the record (!) I've got about 700x 45s and 250x 33s.

I appreciate that Neil (a bit of peer validation always helps). Hope all's good chap.

Thanks John. I will be in touch soon on either/both Lisbon and Amsterdam!!

Hope you've started the year well. I gifted Katy your book and she loves it as witnessed by her LinkedIn post. Thanks for replying to that. Made her day.

Anyway, let's see if I can find my way back into some useful and stimulating short posting.

I'll say this:
1. The NFL playoffs starting today is exciting.
2. Detroit Lions having a bye week as No 1 NFC Seed, I never thought I'd see in 3 decades of following them.
3. 60's Soul Vinyl is timeless

What I AM going to do is not get worked up by orange bufoons, rich asshats, unhinged, attention-seeking nobodies and folks who've taken over other places online with their nasty, divisive bile.

"Stay and fight?" That's what they get off on.

Turn away & give them no-one to rage at. I'm doing that.

Thanks for the share Gary.

I resorted to a UK reissue...had to have it somehow. The original has a big price tag but it is a BIG sound.

I recall going to Parr Hall on Palmyra Square that specific night.

I vividly remember Cecil Washington's "I Don't Like To Lose" being played alongside a crop of Stafford newies at the time. The venue was really dark, but a good atmosphere/playlist

I've had some nice flashbacks from that flyer.

Up cycling/accidental - I'd say that's meant to be there. The Jumper Gods have decreed it.

Precisely that and Graeber had it right. Maybe now it's up to us to fight the good fight?

My first foray into Christmas Jumpers was last year.

So it could be a sign of age, giving in to popular culture or that designs have gotten better.

Mine for example includes symbols from The Mandalorian. So I'm going with the latter...
