Ryan Coogler's cinematic masterpiece, Sinners is amazing. The layers of cultural references and nuanced black excellence across the production is breathtaking. You must see IN the cinema. The caliber and scope of the movie must be consumed on a screen with a great sound system. Do not pass on this.

I’m not sure America can even survive the damage we’ve sustained in such a short time. Despite our best efforts it may not be possible (at least in our lifetimes) to stop the bleeding, reverse course, and repair all that has been damaged since January 20th.

North Carolina’s Atrium Health says it will forgive the debts of 11,500 people — less than a week after NBC News reported that the company has aggressively pursued former patients’ medical debts, placing liens on their homes to collect on bills.
'Like a miracle': N.C. couple free of nearly $100,000 medical debt after 15 years
The lien on Donna and Gary Lindabury's home for a 2009 heart surgery debt was among 11,500 wiped away by Atrium Health after an NBC News report.
