This is part of a longer comment that I wrote on my ko-fi discord server detailing some things about the drawings and all, but the important part is this, since I think it might help give more context or insight behind these drawings, they were very personal for me to do, alt text is available btw!
Discord screenshot, it reads: I've been rambling too much and I'm gonna ramble some more, so feel free to ignore this, but this piece was very special cuz well, it was a Christmas zine, and truth be told I really don't tend to have a good time on Christmas (in fact this one was probably the best one I've had in a while, which is neat), I have a complicated relationship with my family and even if I didn't, I'm +5.000km away from my parents + sister (not a joke or exaggeration, the closest family member that I have is a cousin that I haven't talked to in +10 years that lives in another city) So, obviously, I tend to spend them alone, and it's very mixed cuz yeah I wish I wasn't alone, but also I don't wanna spend it in a bad way and all, so its weird, and well- trying to keep spoilers VERY light here about the story of Trigun, but essentially one of Wolfwood's main things, simplifying it a lot, is that he misses the people he used to consider his family and all, putting that with his feelings towards the group in the 98 anime, and me proyecting on him x945849, well I just thought it'd be nice to kinda just, idk, I want to think that this will be me someday, that I will get to choose the people I consider my family to spend christmas with them, and it will be weird, it is weird when good things happen after you've told yourself over and over that you don't deserve them and it will never happen again etc etc, so, yeah, I wanted Wolfwood to have a nice christmas, its not like how it used to be, but that's fine, he gets to have that now, and I hope one day I can have it too, and it will be good even if it feels weird as well
