Another plus for Lago Maggiore: the train ride is very nice because there’s not that many tunnels compared to the train ride along lake Lucerne.
Maybe they both get the same score idk

Also a huge plus for lake Maggiore: most of it is in Italy, which is significantly cheaper than Switzerland, and the ice cream tastes better too

4. Lake Lucerne: 10/10, beautiful lake, very nice color, nice, steep mountains, many pretty boats and surfers and all around worth the visit
5. Lake Maggiore: the lake I am most familiar with and therefore a little biased towards: 9/10 mountains could be a little nicer I feel but what a nice lake
