Yeah we're good. They're still fighting it but last I heard yesterday ti was 55% contained. They were doing some controlled burns yesterday to limit spread potential. I'm hearing a lot of choppers so may need to crawl my broken ass to the roof again just to spot check

I definitely had a revision of thoughts on that topic since yesterday. The campfire wood, goin. The big ass pine tree, going if I can convince the wife. The on hand for emergency supplies need adaptation. You can guess what my over active brain is going through atm lol

Hurricanes and ahit never really concern me too much but this had me on edge. Even worse having to be the cool head in a crisis guy for the sake of everyone else. I'm still completely wiped from the adrenaline dump last night

We get them in summer but never been anywhere near this close to home. Its usually caused by a controlled burn going out of control and never gets to this level of acreage. Lack of recent good rain was definitely a factor

Shit was less than a mile from my house. Thry weren't telling us shit about where it was specifically or where it was heading. Only got updates from randos on fb saying "theres fire here" type shit. Had words with the mayor about it this morning

The med card is only a few hundred per year but it doesn't allow growing here so its kinda pointless. It may get you a few extra strains at the dispo but that's about it. Once recreational was legal med cards became basically irrelevant

I see it like this, I fully expect politicians to fuck us over at every given opportunity so the fact he even did this one great thing is an unbelievable win. So I didn't figure hes up for any more great things before his terms up
