I haven’t read too many books set in Canada, but I would love to. I love Fredrik Backman’s books because they are set in Sweden, and I get to escape to a more peaceful place for a bit. When I read Anxious People, the difference in police protocol was a (welcomed) culture shock.

I feel the same way. BookTok seems to be all romance, fantasy, or the romantasy hybrid.
