Soft. Childhood friend’s dad was a rehabber. Back in the days when no one thought twice about petting a squirrel or an owl.

A squirrel sat on the ledge of our rented cabin window, so close his fur poked through the screen. Our cat sat on the inside, gently brushing the fur with his paw. Squirrel was unbothered.

The mods on my local buy nothing page would have pounced on that comment so fast! Nothing gets by them. (But actually I find it super annoying we can’t tell people who need pet food that there’s a pet food shelf in the area)

While driving home on an extremely hot day, I heard a BANG. I didn't hit anything. Nothing was around. Pulled over and there was no damage to my car. Next day thought, "Why does my car smell like raspberries?" Very happy to have a plastic liner in my trunk.
