The BPM was part of the wider Black Education Movement, which protested over issues such as education, housing, unemployment and police brutality. The BPM continued to address and protest these issues, both within Britain and internationally #EachOneTeachOne✊🏿

In September 2024, YHP unveiled our third commemorative mural as part of our project celebrating historical African women in healthcare. Installed outside Guy's Hospital in London, the mural features six impactful healthcare workers from a range of time periods. #EachOneTeachOne✊🏿
