Howdy og hei! I'm an artist based in central Norway (though my origins are in Oklahoma). I play tuba, paint, sculpt, embroider, illustrate, write, etc. You know, arts stuff. Anyway, I also make a lot of candy, and study oribatid mites and Odonata.
Thrips have the silliest of little heads. I didn't see them super often in my samples but it was always exciting because they are so wonderfully ridiculous.

Oh my god I'm pretty sure we saw that sign in 2020 when we had to drive from Norman to Houston to get paperwork done to leave the country! Because of course that required in-person stuff during covid.

I loved living there! Started my bachelors at OU fall of '06, stayed after graduating and didn't leave until our move to Norway at the end of 2020.

I didn't realize you're in Fort Worth! My best friend lives there. I used to either take the train down or drive from Norman for the weekend to hang out and adventure around. Sometimes I'd drag my tuba with me to work with her students. Man we had soooo many adventures!

Yiparoons!! This will be my second time trying them. My previous ones lived long but never reproduced. Now that I have more experience, I know a number of things I didn't have right before. Fingers crossed I do it right this round...

Ooohhh that's so awesome!!! Yeah I need to have a friend send one for me since the publisher doesn't ship international. I want the wasp one, too, but that cicada one is a NEED.
