Please consider leaving all languages on by default, this UX choice is making it so that creative people are having their work not seen and most users have no idea.
This is killing adoption and user retention.
It is not the users fault if they didn't know.

Actually this is a ux problem and partly bluesky's fault. They have all languages other than the device sign up language turned off by default and they don't ask you if you want them on in onboarding. People literally aren't seeing their work. A simple way to retain more JP users

New users be VERY CAUTIOUS about whose block lists you subscribe to. There are more than a few users that create them maliciously and will label them things like "child abu$e supporters" then add people they simply don't like

Heads up to artists still using Twitter- Twitter is now adding an "Edit image" button under all images posted on the site that allows everyone to feed it into genAI and modify it as they wish with a prompt
