I think one of the Americans from the U.S. military base there will just walk outside and announce that Greenland belongs to the U.S. now. And then the President will tweet it so (or truth social it or whatever the fuck he does). Surprised that hasn't happened yet.

Also my go-to local restaurants and shops are keeping their doors locked and letting legit customers in as they come. Most have observers posted up. There was armed security guarding the locked door at Culver’s the other day who checked the sight lines before letting me out with my Butterburger.
