I’m reaching the end of my ‘pushing’ rope. I really pushed in the last Ontario election and still no one voted and we are back with a Ford government.

The problem is, and continues to be, we do not have a better option in Canada right now. I don’t see the Conservatives doing better. It’s so frustrating.
Not to mention, there needs to be Provincial and Municipal action.

Faster is in the long term more affordable. If there is enough housing for everyone, then prices go down. That is what they are trying to do.

Audiobooks are also useful during the three hours of meal prep for Thanksgiving (yes, Americans, it is Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend.)
We are having ours untraditionally tomorrow. My husband found a 23 pound turkey. I will be up very early tomorrow.

At ANY sign of infection (smell, pus, swelling), go to a doctor. You will need (at the very least) antibiotics.
IANAD, just a first aid weirdo who finds herself in weird situations all the time. I would, personally, go to urgent care immediately.

If you can’t get to the hospital, you can use butterfly bandages from the pharmacy.
If that’s not possible, put a non-stick dressing on it and push it together while someone ties a strip of cloth pretty tightly around it. Change the dressing at least once a day.
