A piece I made in 2023 after watching Thought Potato's video on mermaids. I wanted my mermaid to be more pinniped-like because it makes more sense for hominids to adapt our legs into fins than to lose them entirely and regrow a tail. #speculativebiology #speculativeevolution #mermaid #mermaids
