An oldie but a goodie, some might say. ‘Thanksgiving’ cacti (often sold at Christmas time as a ‘Christmas cactus, but actual Christmas cacti have smooth edges!) blooms are so stunning. Mine thrives on neglect, but blooms far more with high light!

I think today is the day I chop up all three of my variegated philodendrons ( a pink princess and two white princesses). They’re growing like idiots. Which it seems most climbing philodendrons do if you don’t micromanage every single leaf they put out.

Syngonium wendlandii — one of my all time favorite plants! Mine is still juvenile; I have plans to put her on a pole in the spring to hopefully encourage those big, bunny ears! I love the texture of her leaves and the bushy way she grows ✨

Philodendron ‘Silver Stripe.’ One of the many hederaceum varieties, this plant has such striking variegation that shows up in different shades of white, yellow, cream, and silver. Mine has been growing wonderfully with no drainage and a small support pole!

Hoya ‘Krimson Queen.’ She’s the moment. With only four Hoyas in my entire collection, I’m no Hoya Head, but I wouldn’t trade this girly for anything. Those white leaves and pink vines are iconic. Such easy care, too. For me, she thrives on neglect (same).

Philodendron ‘Ring of Fire.’ A plant so nice, I bought it twice. This is my favorite kind of variegation; I love the speckled, splashy look of the leaves.

This plant is literally so easy to care for. I ran over it with a U-Haul and it lived.
