I miss when Twitter used to be good. Here primarily for Interview with the Vampire (and Merrick Mayfair), but also Outlander/the Lord John series, writing, and books (gothic, horror, fantasy, historical fiction, romance, and everything in between)
I finished, bleary-eyed, shortly after midnight and I CANNOT WAIT to see this story onscreen. I guessed the ending shortly after Tonio's dramatic costume reveal in Rome but it only enhanced that building sense of 'how is this going to unfold'. I definitely need to get a hard copy of this book.

The reality of just how little anything matters to these people outside of their own money/power is really being laid bare now in a way that they at least pretended to disguise before. All of the ugliest bits of society’s underbelly are being exposed at once and it’s painful and sickening to witness

My mom is usually also not super tapped into this stuff but of course today is the one time she asks ‘what’s the thing I saw about Trump investigating Clinton’ and I was like *crypt keeper voice* ‘… are you sure you want to be burdened with this knowledge? You can’t unknow it’

Totally understandable, especially because you are basically trapped in the US and forced to live with the consequences of everything in a much realer way than I am. Even just watching from a distance I find everything so heartbreaking, rage inducing and overwhelming.

I was able to skate by without having to go into the Vance/couch lore last time but clearly my luck ran out on this one 😭😭😭

YES, it’s a subject I didn’t know much about (subjects plural I guess I we count the procedure and the actual opera singing part of it) and I am learning so much while also being horrified with every new bit of knowledge I attain
