A two for one! The first magic deck I can remember building centered around this combo. I was essentially playing bad affinity without realizing it, as I didn't engage with comp mtg until rtr. It originally used Megatog, until a helpful lgs employee taught me the value of mana efficiency.

One of my first edh decks, and one I'd continue to play with until I lost it. I like the limitations of mono color edh decks, and the win con is really fun to pull off. I ought to rebuild and update it sometime.

I didnt get to play with it for long before covid stopped me, but I had fun pissing off scrubs in pioneer with this in a uw control deck. Winning without ever attacking or even doing damage is really cool to me, and i especially love its inevitability if you can't counter or remove it in some way.

Lightning Bolt. I started playing around mirrodin with a box full of old cards from a friend, and I quickly gravitated to red decks. It was so exciting to see this get reprinted in M10, and will always be the standard I judge any burn card against (and thus be forever dissatisfied with)
