Jenny arrived 18 months ago now and didn't play with toys although she does play with me and selected dogs.

Jenny arrived 3rd June 2024 and was so scared. She's learned that being with people can be good.
Her nemesis was getting into the car. Although she was comfy in it I've had to lift her in for over a year.
Last week she went into the car by herself twice 😁
Huge breakthrough, so proud of her!

Jenny arrived 3rd June 2024 and was so scared. She's learned that being with people can be good.

My wee rescue girl was never as frightened as Sophie but, after a year, still doesn't like strange things happening in her regular walks but she adapts and Sophie will as well over time.
E.g. if a traffic cone appears it is very suspicious

Jenny's genetic results arrived today and she's an interesting mix!
No photo of her during the analysis but some of the +ve markers id'd were:
Be tan/red colour ✅️
Have floppy ears ✅️
Have dew claws on back legs ✅️
Have a long tail ✅️
Be a moderate shedder ⁉️ My vacuum says she sheds a lot 😂

Lady Jenny Ginger Rogers of North Macedonia recently had a trip around home territory of Loch Ness and Fort Augustus.
She had several lovely ways and a trip into her first café where she met a lady who works for a Greek dog rescue charity.

I bought and read it when it was released. Absolutely loved it, it has so much more detail about the journey so far. My wee girl Jenny, from Macedonia, is fortunately not frightened as Sophie was but all rescues need a period of adjustment especially if they've been a street dog.
