For me, too. My family don’t really understand but luckily I have a supportive partner who really does and has been gently encouraging me to work out what I actually need.

Same. I’ve been having counselling and one of the key take aways from that has been to stop fighting. It’s taken me months to even realise what that means - I’ve been fighting because of this disability my whole life. I was quite cross when she told me that 😂
