plus something else i noticed is that i used to define muscles on the lineart, and it looked odd sometimes, you can make a subtle lineart and then just define the muscles on the coloring with soft / subtle shadows! c:

A big mistake i made for a long time is drawing male bodies with a sharp muscular definition all the time, which looked plain.
i guess a good tip i could give you is to give those guys a bit of fat! it helps adding a lot of life, flow and softness to the artwork!
