Hi #ShowMeYourKnits! My advent calendar is ready to go! 🎄🧶 My mom stitched this in the 80s from a Creative Circle kit embroidery kit and it still brings me so much joy. This year, it's loaded with mini skeins from mspamelaoriginals.etsy.com's "A Mid-Century Modern Christmas" Advent.

Shouting out one of my fave indie dyers for #ShowMeYourKnits this week. I bought this color (Earthling) from You Knit I Dye in 2020, and it might be my all-time favorite skein in my knitting career.

I knitted these socks as a gift and I’m still a little salty I gave them away… 🧶😂

Here's a little impromptu art project I just made from random stuff I found while cleaning my desk... I kind of like it. I laminated it and it's going to a mat to paint my nails on to protect the surface of said desk. 💅

Silverplait is my favorite pattern for cabled socks! 😍 It's easy to do the side cables without a needle and the bigger cable crosses where you are switching your dpns anyway. And all the math lines up nicely so you don't need to look at the pattern once you get in the groove. #ShowMeYourKnits

OMG. I have always thought this shawl pin was weird because the cat doesn't have arms. I almost never wear it for that reason. I took it out this afternoon and can now see the arms clear as day! He has them up in the air like he's excited! It's cute! How on earth did I miss this all these years??

My sock drawer is full so I had to move some pairs into secondary storage. 😟 I intentionally put my x-mas socks in there so I will be forced to revisit it & maybe rotate the socks that have been banished to the archive. Is this relatable? What do others do with excess well-worn socks?

Well, these socks weren't long for this world... I thought the poppy red would play nice with the multicolor yarn, but it just wasn’t vibing. I frogged it at just an inch in! Usually, I’m kind of a late frogger, but this time I decided to trust my gut.
