It could also be that your personal tastes & aesthetics have shifted but your style might not reflect that(?) Not exactly sure what you mean by not feeling any personal connections, but would that ultimately break down into not liking how it looks or the subject isn’t interesting/meaningful?

In the beginning you’ll probably suspect that it’s standard stuff: possible murder or human trafficking space. It got pretty wild (and maybe a bit much) when the main character and his friend started to speculate all kinds of things out of nowhere. But overall the rest of the story is interesting.

This is actually very common as a general concept! Having a cool concept/idea and then finding out it’s not that great upon execution for a lot of (creative) projects is super common!! But it’s really important you get your idea out there and not let it stew in your head.

I got so many things I need to work on & several bad habits to unlearn.

I’m really bad at simplifying shapes & adds too many random unnecessary details that makes the drawing messy (lack of fundamentals) 😭

Also a lot of incongruence in rendering that breaks the uniform feeling of the picture 😔
