I was thinking that I would still need winter tires just to move the damn thing when we plow the driveway, but it might be more cost-effective if I just give it dedicated parking space and tent for the winter. Literally never move it.

You know I've always taken for granted that the Tiguan will move itself pretty decently through the snow with winter tires, but when I put on these new coilovers, that might change. With 10 kg springs I might lose nearly all of my mechanical grip, winter tires be damned. 😅

I've got a GTI sitting in my yard that's begging for me to yank those control arms and do a test fit.

In addition to considering buying new smaller winter tires, I probably don't want to go into the winter with severe or debilitating geometry issues. I have a feeling that I'm going to need some different control arms due to ball joint angles, but that's just a hunch.

Any reason your new network name/pw shouldn't the same as the old one? I've replaced networks before without having to program 70 devices all over again. Honestly, I dread doing that. 😄
